Load data for JSWC with win 231

Hello. I have been reloading now for about a year and a half now. I just picked up some Berry's 200 grain JSWC. I have been using win auto comp for my 230 JRN and I decided to pick up a pound of Win 231 to try out. Does anybody have any load data for JSWC and 230 JRN using Win 231? Thanks!

Thank you Chief. Now I have a good place to start and work up my loads.

My favorite load for 200 gr SWC is 5.0 gr of 231 or HP 38. They're the same powder. Very accurate on all my 1911s with mild recoil.

6.1 grains sounds a little high. Look here:

I haven't shot Berry's in a long time, but according to my notes the loading results were somewhere between cast lead and copper jacketed. What may be max for one could be overpressure for the other. Most people have great results with mid-range loads anyways. Follow kmca's link to the Hodgdon/Winchester site.

I've been using 5.2 grains of 231 with 200 grain lead wadcutters for a long time.

Was using 5.0 grains before that, and while very soft shooting, it was giving me a lot of barrel leading.

I like the W231 powder as well.
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

Bullseye is also a very good choice.

6.1 grains of 231 is a max load for a 200 grain LSWC. Would I load to that level no way (out of my recoil comfort zone). My 200 grain Win-231 loads are 4.7 grains since the load combination is vary accurate, soft recoil for fast second shot (IDPA, Steel Challenge).
