    MAgtech 9mm

Just picked up am old box of Magtech 115? 125 gr +p+ hollow points. 50 rounds for 10 bucks. Any info on this ammo as far as defence purposes. I currently load 9mm starfire Eldorado in my home defence gun. I was looking for Hornady Critical defence but no one in San Diego seems to have i right now. Any real life stories or bullistic info would be helpful prior to usin it for defense. Thanks

        MAGTECH

I was talking with a guy at Southern california guns and looking for the Critical defense 9mm. He pulled several types of ammo from the shelf and had a box of 50 magtech +P+ marked 10 bucks. I snatched it up. Took it to the range today with my glock 17. IT'S HOT. Snappy like a .40 cal. My glock 36 doesn't snap like this. So I shot up half of it and loaded my mags up for home defense. If in SD check out so cal guns on Convoy in kearny Messa. One of the few places I can still find some good ammo deals.

Chief-7700, Starfire is made by PMC. I don't have the box anymore, but if you look up Starfire, Eldorado on google, you'll find it. I had it in 150 grain 357 magnum, but changed it up in my 357 when Hornady came out with it's critical defense.

here is the URL I found on google.

Thank you! The last centerfire ammo I bought was a case of .45ACP for a handgun course at Front Sight this April. Being a reloader not up on the different name brands of ammo out there.

Happy to help, but that magtech 115gr +p+ is smokin. I read it is close to 1300ft per second.
