    Fiocchi ammo any good

I noticed Fiocchi ammo for sale at cheaperthandirt.com and was pretty impressed with the prices.
First of all, I'll be shooting it out of a YUGO SKS (not the best barrel)
If anybody has any experience with Fiocchi (7.62 x 39) please inform.
    Thanks in advance.

. I am not a huge fan of the ammo. Glocks generally like it, but others sometimes have more ftf's opposed to Federal, Winchester, etc. I shot a Howa rifle in 308, and 20 of the hundred rounds were Fiocchi...I had 1 ftf, and one fte which actually got stuck in the chamber. Are you shooting an AK??

They are no good at all...just send them to me. Fiocchi works well on my pistols and rifles.

I love the Fiocchi ammo... at least the pistol ammo (all that I have experience with) mostly 9mm, 357, and 45acp. Very clean burning.

I've used Fiocchi ammo in the Forest during the summer months as it's Non-Magnetic. (Yes there are others) It shoots just fine in both my Romanian and Yugo SKS's. It does tend to be on the expensive side. If it's on sale go for it.

I can only speak to Fiocchi handgun, shotgun and .30-06 ammo. All works very well for me. Their loads seem to have a bit more gee-whiz to them and the report is a bit louder than WWB/UMC ammo. Accuracy wise, they're certainly good enough to use for training, if not field use. Never had one misfire or hangfire. No issues with signs of excessive pressure either.

I've shot their .38 Spl and their .223 Rem. So far, so good. If it's a good deal, go fer it.

                Great Stuff

Fiocchi 55gr FMJ is my favorite .223 ammo. I have shot at least 2000 rounds without a single problem. I also shoot Fiocchi in 9mm, .357Mag, .45 ACP and .308. No problems. Good clean ammo. Groups well compared to a lot of the other stuff I have tried. Reasonably priced compared to other quality ammo, as well. Buy with confidence.

Fiocchi JHP or FMJ work fine in Glock 19 or 23.
