Speer gold dot 45acp reloading data, need help

Hey guys, Im reloading some of my speer gold dot bullets, they are 230gr gdhp. I cannot find the reloding data. my Lyman book says 225gr hp's should have 4.1gr of unique (548fps) as a suggested start. and max load is 6.7 of unique (883fps). So, my bullets are not 225gr's , they are 230gr's. so, should I drop in 6.5gr's of unique to be safe? or should I put it at the max (6.7gr of unique)? This is my only box of hp ive ever bought, they were a little pricey so I relly do not want to mess them up! thanks for your input in advance!

On the alliant website, I found this recipe: 6 grains of Unique for a 230 gn GDHP.

Their reloading manual does not have 230 gn GDHP, but it does have 230 gn TMJ. For the TMJs it recommends a max charge of Unique at 6.5 grains. See page 35:

I have always understood that jacketed bullet data was interchangeable whether it was FMJ, TMJ, or HP. In any case, do your homework on the Alliant website before you load anything. For ref, TMJ is total metal jacket (even the base is covered).

According to the Speer #14 using Unique. Test gun is a Sig 220 4.4" barrel.

      Start 5.4 grains 721fps
      Max 6.0 grains 806 fps
