    LNL-AP Configuration Question

What is the best die setup for a LNL-AP, to reload .45 ACP? I have the Hornady new dimension dies, but I would like to use a powder check die (Hornady or Dillon), and probably the Lee factory crimp die.

Is this a good setup, or are there other recommendations?

I recommend the RCBS lockout die:

It is adjustable and works well with the LNL-AP

If you have a squib load (no powder) or a double charge it will stop operation of you LNL by jamming the measuring rod inside the die and preventing movement of the ram. Pretty cool!

I use and like the RCBS lock out die. I also use a powder drop expander from powderfunnels.com. Frees up a station so that you can use that powder check die and Lee FCD.

          Station 1: Hornady Sizer
Station 2: Powder Drop with PTE from powderfunnels.com (The Hornady PTE sucks)
Station 3: RCBS Powder Check (I haven't tried the lockout die or the Powder Cop, but the Powder Check works for me)
          Station 4: Hornady Seater
          Station 5: Hornady Taper Crimp
I've never seen an American flag burned at a gun show.
