    Problem with tumbler???

I just bought a harbor freight cement mixer(smallest one they have). I also went to the feed store and bought a bag of corn cob media. I finally put together the cement mixer and I toss some cob and some shells in there. I turned it on and the media and shells just stay in place while the mixing bowl spins around it. I was wondering if any of you know or had this problem. Do you put any kind of liner or something on the inside for the media to stick to? I tried taking some media out but didn't change anything.
Thansk for all the help you guys give.

Do you have it running vertically? If so, that will happen. You need to put it almost horizontal to allow it to tumble. This may (will) require that you put some sort of lid on the mixer opening. I have used a sheet of rubber with a bungy cord.

Hunter....I do have it almost vertically. Or at least to the point right before it will fall out. Maybe I will try and put something over the front to see if it works.
