Haven't shopped around to see who's "cheapest", but I bought a bunch of 9mm brass from "Eat Dirt" a few months ago and felt good about the transaction.
Good brass, nice guy, prompt shipping, etc.

9mm brass has been going for $.03 lately. I have seen .308 as low as $.11 but it doesnt pop up much. Check the ammo/reloading forum.

                Try powdervalleyinc.com - Lyman's says - don't buy once fired brass.

Ehhh? How many times should it be fired before we buy it?

I'd rather not. I believe anyone who claims once fired brass is no longer reusable is only interested in lining their own pockets with cash.

FTR, I've loaded CCI aluminum 45ACP to 870FPS with no problems. If I can reload that, I can reload ANY brass/nickel cased ammo.

Lyman has no problem with reloading once fired brass.

They caution about buying "once fired brass" from others.

To quote from the 49th Edition page 47:

"Load cases which you have obtained as new unfired brass or which you have on hand as the result of firing new factory ammo in the firearm for which you wish to reload. A few pennies saved on bargain so called 'once fired' brass makes little sense when on considers the cost of a firearm and/ or medical treatment, or worse."

                            Conservative? Yes.

But also something to think about if you plan to load heavy.
