I'm going to be getting some ammo soon... and was curious if online was better or a gunshow? I'm in Pomona but can travel to as far as the east san fernando valley/ventura and or riverside etc...

I think those search engines should help...
Gun show deals can be hit or miss around here.. Making offers in the last hour of the last day seems to yield the best deals in my experience (especially if you are buying in bulk). Otherwise if you can't make friends with your local class 3+ license holder (those guys get the deals because they generally buy skids/palates worth at a time) shop around online, just don't forget to figure in shipping costs (thats where they tend to get you).
