    Nickel brass vs copper brass

    Hi, is there any much difference between nickel and copper brass?
    I feel the nickel brass are much harder, besides cleaner, and last much longer for many times of reloading...Is any of these true?
    Any inputs are greatly appreciated!

      Nickel plated brass will split faster than yellow brass.
      Copper brass??? The only copper colored brass I have seen in the mil-surp from
      the former USSR and most all of that is berdan primed. The exception is the copper tinged TZZ/IMI which is very good brass.

          Nickel is harder and therefore you will get less reloads especially with bottleneck brass such as most rifle cartridges. It does not tarnish like the brass so it is better for a leather carry loop belt etc. If you have it use it and reload it. It is good brass.
          A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

              The nickel plate is a harder finish therefor, you are more likely to scratch a sizing die if you don't get ALL the grit off the cartridge case. .02
