Lee Auto-disk pro on a (gasp!) Dillon 550b?

Hey. I'm cheap, so I was thinking that I would just swap powder measures when I swap calibers (.45 & 9mm) so I bought a toolhead and the caliber conversion kit for my 550b. But I'm too cheap to buy a new Dillon powder measure. I see that the Lee Auto-disk is half the price of the Dillon. Since my 9mm dies are Lee, it has the Lee powder-through die. Does the Auto-disk thing just fit on that die? Will it work like this?

Anyone have a link with pics to such a setup?

Thanks. It's no big deal, I can just swap the powder measure from one tool head to the other I guess, but my laziness might overwhelm my cheapness (but not enough to buy the Dillon measure!)

You could rig something up so pull the positive reset cord. Everything else is straight forward.

What is wrong with swapping the powder measure between tool heads? I have been doing that for years. No big deal.

Nothing wrong with that at all, but I figured if you can keep the measures on the toolhead then you don't have to re-configure the charge. Sure I'd check every time I re-installed the toolhead, but it would just be simpler.

This one attaches to the die and is actuated when the shell pushes upwards. No chain or lever needed.

bumpo628, that's the one I was thinking of. I guess if it simply screws onto the Lee die, then it's good to go. It has some "positive pull back" lever. I've never used it before.
