I went year before last.

Its basically the gun show prices. The selection was a little better IMHO. Particularly on oddball calibers and guages/shotsizes.

The big reasons to go would be the fact you dont have to pay for parking and show entrance, and they loan you a handtruck for the 10 yard walk between the cash register and where your car is parked.

I just got back from the sale, I got a case of S&B .223 for 289.95, they also had cases of PMC .223 for 299.95 I think. Also picked up some .45 reloads and a case of S&B 9mm for 155.95.

Why, were they out of their factory 223 FMJ stuff? That was 119 per 500 and it's GREAT stuff - anything Miwall makes is excellent. Didn't see any 308 in bulk though, and their prices on 30-06 surplus were about the same as if I ordered it from home.

Another good thing about going there is that they showcase a lot of local yokel's ammo products - 50 44 mag's for 14$ for instance - and it's all decent stuff. All in all I paid 370 for 1000 rounds of 223, 40 rounds of 300 win mag, 250 rounds of 44 special, and 150 rounds of 44 mag.

I came home with 10K of primers.

There was hardly any Surplus 308. Just some indian for 170 for 400. The 308 prices may inspire me to build up a poodleshooter lower.
