    socal gunsmiths

I have this idea (yes I know it will cost more than it's worth, etc.) of rechambering a steyr m95/34 to shoot 7.62x54r or a semi-wildcat (if you can even call it that) .308x54r round. I'd need a rebarrel job, and any other modifications. The clips hold the russian ammo fine and the bolt is seams to work too. I can load a clip and chamber a dummy round in my steyr, so I assume a quick rebarrel would give me my dream scout rifle.

So any input would be appreciated as well as socal (inland empire) gunsmiths who could do a good job of this.
