    Normal OAL variation 9mm

I'm new to reloading and was wondering if my variation in OAL was normal.

I'm getting between 1.125 and 1.130. I might get one at 1.123 or 1.132 also.

I think the bullets might be seated a tiny bit crooked and that could account for part of the variation.

I'm using 115 berrys plated with 4.2gr titegroup.

The OAL variancre is due to the slight variance in bullet ogjive profile.

As J-Cat said, variance is normal. 9 thousandths is a little on the high side though. +.003 is within normal tolerance.

You should not be seating crooked bullets. If they are crooked they will wobble down the barrel and in the air effecting accuracy.

Try flaring your case a little more.
