Is there Hazmat on loaded ammo?

I haven't bought ammo online in a very long time. I don't recall having to pay Hazmat on it. I know for primers and powder you DO have to pay Hazmat. Is the same true for loaded ammo?

Thanks! I know, it's a silly question, but wanted to know.

There is on some projos but they are not legal in Ca as you would expect.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

All that happens is there gets put an "ORM-D" sticker on the boxes. There's some sort of Federal tax (oh, joy) that's wrapped in the price of the ammo, but no HAZMAT fees. That's only for powder and primers.
