    Speer Lawman 185gr .45ACP - thoughts?

Just bought a pile of it on sale.
I trust the manufacturer, but wondering about the flattened nose and slightly lighter bullet weight in the 1911.

Got these mainly for a training class coming up where I'll be burning up 250 rounds in a day.

Any thoughts/experiences with it? Gonna put it through my Kimber Ultra Covert II, if that matters.

Came out to about $16.20/box after shipping.

If it runs in your gun, sounds like a good buy.

Some 1911s will not eat 185 grain bullets with out some barrel work done. Would load up some dummies to see if they will feed.

XL-650 to feed the: .45ACP's Les Baer Concept V, Ruger SR 1911, Ruger Nightwatchman, custom built Colt M1911, Springfield .45ACP Loaded.. 9MM SA Range Officer,Ruger P-85, Springfield Stainless 9MM loaded, SA 9MM 5.25" XDM, Springfield 9mm Stainless Range Officer, STI double stack .45ACP.
