    Cracked RCBS sizing die

I got out the RCBS 7.5mmx54 MAS reloading dies last night and realized that the sizing die is cracked about a half an inch long from the bottom up. Never saw anything like this in 30+ years of reloading! I paid a premium to get the die set about 15 years ago. Just ordered a Lee set for $31 delivered. Some things have gone down in price over the years.

RCBS sent me free parts (o-ring seals) for a lubrisizer that my dad bought decades ago and left to me after his passing away.

Yeah, Rcbs will replace almost anything for free, usually no questions asked. Even stuff I've bought used with missing parts, they've happily sent replacement parts at no charge, not even for shipping. Excellent people to deal with, keeps me loyal.

The website says that the dies are lifetime warranty with the sales receipt. Who keeps receipts for 15 years?

Exactly. But when I told them I broke the pin of my decapper the only question asked was "what is your address?" I was sent a package of 10 pins, the center pin holder thing, and a lock nut.

Likewise. Same happened for me. It's even the upgraded version that uses the headed decapper pins, which are far less likely to fall out than the old style.

I think my .30-06 may have a small crack that runs in between a couple of the threads. As I press in, I can see some of the lube that's been left behind get pushed out by the air-pressure of the case coming in. This has resulted in some DAMN dirty shirts for me, as I sized up 200 cases at a stretch.
