where can i find information for reloading 40 cal such as how long the shell and bullet should measure for proper seating and such?

Some 40 in 1911 platform guns need to be loaded out to 1.22". Depends upon the gun.
My Para 16-40 will only run 100% is the load is 1.18"or longer.If you can't shoot good, at least look good shootingComment

You should keep several manuals on hand to cross-reference and double check your loads. It's understandable if you only have one manual and you are starting out. But please, do have at least a manual and read it before trying to load ammunition.Comment
