question on a lyman tumbler please

Got a little Lyman 1200 Turbo Tumbler and one thing isn't clear in the instructions..hoped someone might give me a heads up .... on the bottom of the orange tub or bowel there are 3 small feet that are just extrusions from the bowel...There are some rubber pads on the platform that vibrates and where the bowel sits down. The little feet are spaced so that they can either sit up on the round rubber pads or they can sit down between them....nothing in the instructions to clear this up...don't want media all over the floor and don't want to burn anything up...If you know and would please tell me I"d much appreciate it.

the bowl needs to set flat on the rubber cushions not on the bumps on the bowl

Thanks for that..I guess the little bumps act as feet if you set the bowl down somewhere...coincidence the spacing on them is such that they fit right on top of 3 of the rubber pads....I imagine that they also could act as "stops" if the bowl began to move just a little and not allow it to get loose...anyway I do appreciate the comments...

yeah.. I do believe they are stops. I noticed the other day when tumbling that I had some spilled media on the floor and I took a pinch and sprinkled it on the base of the tumbler and as I thought would happen, the media traveled around the base of the tumbler like it was on a jumping bean race track.
So yeah, think it's there to keep the bowl from spinning (if the bowl spindle nut is loose)

Me too, same model. Seems pretty durable for a cheap(er) tumbler.

Good tumbler, i have the same one. I agree with above make sure bowl sits flat on pads and not the little legs on the bowl. Great tumbler my only complaint no on/off switch but i will fix that one of these days.

I bought a cheap ($17) GE programmable digital timer and use that to turn it on & off and set tumble time (countdown timer)
