.357 mag Jamison International Brass

Has anyone used this brass?

I bought some .357 brass from Jamison International and after firing the rounds I loaded the cases have expanded (Inner Diameter) to .357 - .359.
The bullets fall into the case after resizing and even with a crimp the bullets can be finger pushed into the case.

My loads are 6.3gr Bullseye powder and a 158gr FMJ Berry's bullet.

Anyone experience this?

Does not sound right. Jamison has always made quality brass. I would give them a call and see what they say. Dis you have this same problem when reloading other brass with the same dies?

Well, as we all know, brass will expand some after firing, hence the need to resize afterwards. However, that resizing die should've taken care of that. Can you try this with a fired case of a different brand, just to make sure? I suspect there won't be any difference, but it'll eliminate the materials.

No, I haven't tried any other brass. But thats a good idea. I have a box of factory .357 ammo I can fire off.

You're sure you used the right die? The Lee "deluxe" die set has 2 sizing dies. You want the one with the decapper pin, not the one with a crimper knob on top. (pay no attention to this if you're using the 3-die set)

That second one would be the Factory Crimp Die, and you're exactly right. The FCD is a bit wider than the decapper/resizer die.

BTW, I have that same die set, and I can tell you they generally work really well. I've done thousands and thousands of .38 Spl and .357M on them, various brands of cases.

Called Lee Precision and talked to a tech rep. He asked me to measure the ID of the resize die. Should be between .372 -.373" Mine measured .3765", so the problem is the resizing die. Another die is in the mail.
