Any load data for 308 150gr FP X-treme bullets?

I cant find any load data for X-treme bullets in 308 150gr FP, has anyone ever shoot these bullets before?
I'm just wondering since these bullets are plated how fast are you able to get them before suffering plating separation? I know Xtreme is supposedly using the thickest plating. Thanks...

what do you plan on shooting them out of? If out of a .30-.30 look for lead data in Lyman and keep them under 1500 fps or even less, check w/ the bullet manufacturer. I was thinking of using them for .300Whisper/aac blackout but it is too light for subsonic, probably won't get very good groups with it. Someone try and prove me wrong.

What powder are you using and what are you shooting it out of?

My Load Data

I'm going to post the data for the load I just tested, because I couldn't find anything super helpful online and stumbled upon this unresolved thread. I'm using different propellant, but here's my data...USE AT YOUR OWN RISK:

• Tested in Remington 700 SPS Tactical (20" barrel)
• Hornady .308 Win Match brass
• Xtremebullets 150gr FP copper-plated (.308)
• 26gr IMR 4064 propellant (used this as a reference)
• OAL 2.56"
• Remington large rifle primers (wasn't my first choice--but pretty much all that was available at the local store)

Let me know if I'm missing anything (I don't know the velocity, unfortunately). As of the writing of this post, I have put 5 of these rounds through my Rem 700; and the accuracy was actually quite good (I'll try to report on that better when I am able to go out again).

I have been on a search for a good 30-30 recipe as well for X-Treme plated bullets. Most of what I found suggests Trailboss.

Note this is not specifically for cast or plated. Still exceeds 1500 fps.

I loaded up 5 rounds from 16 to 18 grains of SR 4759 in 0.5 grain increments. All fired without issue, made it 100 yards, but had a tough time telling where they hit. I hit my target on 1 of 5 - the other 4 may have hit low on the cardboard backing - too many holes to be sure. Fired through a recent model Marlin 336W.

Keep them under 1700 fps and you should be fine....

Thanks for that! I just got 500 of those bullets and have been putting off on loading them. I wasn't even sure how long to set the OAL.

I'll be shooting it out of my PSS.

I tried to use them with my Marlin 30/30 336c no luck. To fast bad groups. So I now load them for my Ruger 30 carbine.Great groups big bang lots of fun.

At 1500fps velocity, the pressure will likely be way too low to cycle any semi-auto action.

I have loaded the Xtreme 7.62X39 123 grain flat point with 21.5 grains of imr 4227 out of an sks with no feeding or cycling issues. Hope this helps.
