    PMC ammo is back!

Fwiw, word has it that PMC ammo is starting to arrive in the US from S. Korea. (The boat has arrived!) .223 Rem. and some handgun calibers for starters. Hopefully, that will help alleviate the nationwide shortage of .223 ammo...

Heard from one of the reps at the SHOT Show that they will be concentrating on military calibers for now: .223, .45, 9mm, etc., Hopefully, also .308.

I'd imagine this first shipment will quickly be split up/allocated amongst the wholesalers, ammo dealers, et al, and grabbed up by customers ASAP.

Hopefully, there are many Conex-fulls to follow soon...

Will that be more overpriced ammo in the supply chain or will it really help lower the cost? Seems like everyone is using OPEC's method of selling commodities.

ya I saw that on Natchez flyer. Pusang will be dealing direct instead of US rep. More $ for the Koreans.

Metal is Metal and costs about the same around the world. Ocean transportation is very expensive now so my guess is that PMC will be priced along with other brands. Even if they have an advantage with labor, transportation costs will more than eat that up as it has with S&B and Magtech. I know that PMC went to India to buy brass and Armscor bought it all up so the Koreans had to go to China, most distastful to them.

299 a case!! Wow, it really brought down the cost a bit.

It is kind of funny how some people don't seem to realize that prices go up over time. Sure you used to pay cheap prices for ammo, but like auto fuel, it isn't going to go back down anytime soon. If you are holding out for the prices to go down and you expect it to be like the good old days, you might never go shooting again.

+1 At least they are shipping product. Good luck finding .223 these days, much less cheap .223...

I'm still waiting for gas to drop back to $.26/gal. with free soap, dishes, and green stamps, like back when I was a kid...

Nah, just fill 'er up and drive like there's no tomorrow, before it jumps to $5.00/gal.... yee-ha!

I still shoot, but just not as much. I do more stockpiling than anything else. Because like I said before, there's no end to the madness.
