    AMA headstamp question

I have some once fired brass with a headstamp of AMA 06. I found this is for the Danish Government Arsenal.

So far I have broken 2 RCBS deprime pins. The second was a piece of brass which slipped the scrutiny process.

Anybody familar with this brass and the primer? Can it be deprimed?

    TIA

Look in the cartridge and see if there are two flash holes (Berdan Primed) toss it
One hole (Boxer Primed) you can reload this.

Some common causes for broken depriming pins:
        Berdan Primers
Small caliber brass stuck inside (9mm inside a .40S&W)
        Rocks
        Crimped in primers (Military)

How can a crimped primer be idendified?

"Rocks"? As in a crack head shot his foutaay and his rock fell in the shell, or something picked up from the range and not removed in the precleaning?

The following URL can explain it better than I can plus it has pictures

Gravel can get lodged inside the case and the depriming pin will always find it.
