Started washing my brass

Does it get cleaner than with walnut/corncob dry media (or with some nupolish added)?
I used to wash brass in a bucket with dishsoap. What a pain to dry!
I finally got a cheap (Frankford Arsenal) vibratory case cleaner and some crushed walnut from Petsmart. Gets clean, but everything is dusty! I was thinking ... hmm, OK, so now it's clean, but I gotta ... clean it with water!!??==================

Remember to dial 1 before 911.
Forget about stopping power. If you can't hit it, you can't stop it.

Cut up a used dryer sheet and toss it in when you tumble. It will significantly cut down the amount of dust.Does it get cleaner than with walnut/corncob dry media (or with some nupolish added)?

It seems to be small SS pins. Kind of pricey, works only in rotary tumblers, but it should last forever, in theory.
I reload because I'm cheap. SS media does not look cheap. The lizard bedding and nufinish is cheap.
I tried some corncob (I HAD to, I found bird bedding at Walmart for $4 a bag) Maybe I put in too much brass, or this bedding is not good, but the brass mostly dropped to the bottom of the tumbler and vibrated there making a lot of noise. Granted, the brass DID come out crazy shiny....too loud, I'm going back to walnut!==================

It's not cheap. the tumbler is about 170.00 Stainless media 49.99
It's really not necessary. I like to be anal about reloading my 308 rounds. I got tired of cleaning the necks and primer pockets individually.
If you look at the link i posted above this stuff will clean the nastiest range brass. Brass comes out looking new. No evidence of carbon at all!Semper Fi
