I have been reloading shotgun for 5 years and 308 for hunting rounds for 3 years,30-06 for the M-1 for a year and 45 ACP close to a year, so I'm not new to reloading but I still don't know it all. I built my AR a few months ago and I'm ready to reload for it. I bought 3 different weights of hornady v-max boolits, 50, 55 and 60 gr, and will be using H4895. the twist is 1-9. I have the hornady manual and a barnes manual. what i wanted to know from everyone is if they have a favorite load with one of these bullets using H4895 or IMR. I always start at the lowest charge and work up but I want to eliminate some of the work and vary the load around a real world load that proves successful for someone. I want to enter some Service rifle competitions so the target ranges will vary. thanks for your help
