    AK Dented Brass

I know this is common but anyway to reduce the heavy dents in the body of case? loads, springs, etc.? I reload and want to save my Boxer brass.

On Saiga's I have seen gues open up the cover a little bit and put a .357 mag spent casing on the charging handle to cure it.

Different loads, all eject about 15 feet at 1-2 o'clock.

Hitting the charging handle is a possibility.

can't really see much else for it to hit. I'd think you oughta be able to see some light colored marks from brass transferring onto the charging handle.

Fot has a good idea with the shell casing. quick 'n dirty fix. a little piece of foam rubber or neoprene might work well too.

Thanks Tujungatoes, I can see the brass marks from cases hitting the breech cover just above handle. I'll try another cover then maybe open it a little if needed.
FYI, it's a Lancaster built on a Romy G action. Thanks for all the help.
