    Bead Blasting

Anyone know of anyone in the SoCal area--specifically LA county--that can do bead blasting for me at a decent price? I'm looking to turn my OLL flat dark earth.

    Peen Rite

Peen Rite if your close to san fernando valley. They are off the 5 freeway. If i rememeber right i think they charge $40 for firearms. If you are doing more than one firearm try tro bargain for $40 for all of them. It takes them like 1 minute to blast everything.

Thanks for the info. I'm in the San Gabriel Valley. But if that's the only place, I'll probably have to head out there. I know some have told me that my receivers don't necessarily have to be blasted, but I'd like to be safe.

Im sure theres some company in your area that does the same thing. search the web for a company. There are many companies that do blasting as part of their work. Probably even autobody shops would have sand blasting.

If you have a compressor you can buy the gun and media for around $40 to blast your own stuff.

I don't have a compressor, but I'm willing to get one. Links for a good deal for a compressor?

Thanks. What kind of specs should I be looking for in the air compressor?

Simi Valley isn't that far out for me. It's only 50 miles.

The lower receivers have been anodized as well as parked, are you sure you want to get rid of that type of protection?
