Wolf / Tula Primers - Any Good?

Loaded 200 rounds so far and I've had 2 FTF's using Tula small pistol primers.

Gun is an xd9 with a PRP trigger kit. Full power striker spring.
Load is 147gr Hardcast with 3.2gr Solo1000 one @ 1.13 OAL and one @ 1.147 OAL. Looks like the primers slightly backed out, weird.

Other than that, they've been good.

From the pictures it looks like the primers are not seated at the bottom of the pocket.

Yeah, that's why it's weird. I lined them all up in a MTM box before shooting it, and I'm 100% sure they were all completely seated. It was only when I had the FTF that it pushed back out a bit.

Still think from the pictures that they are seated high. One way to find out try and shoot them again.

Just tried some Wolf small pistol in my...um, rather warm .38 Spl load with 2400 powder. Worked great. Also work great with the powder-puff load. Go for 'em.

BTW, Widener's has Wolf primers on sale for $18.50 to $19.00 per thousand.

Hard to imagine they were seated then after not firing backed out a bit. Not saying it didn't happen, its just doesn't seem like it would.
