I stack them box and all in my ammo can
Reloaded ammo goes the bulk method, separate can of course

In their respective boxes, stored in a fireproof (concrete-lined) filing cabinet.

Store bought stays in their boxes.

Reloads go in either plastic boxes (you know the sort), scrounged boxes from the range (re labeled, of course) or sometimes in a zip lock freezer bag.

I scored a heavy duty Stackon cabinet with double locks and that's where ammo & some other stuff live.

Keep them in boxes so if you ever need trade or sell some you got quick access. No counting needed. Sucks if you have to count out two hundred or more.

That's a good point. I went thru the process of counting my stores weeks back and used post-it tape and marked each can with a total count. Easy to keep track of what I have.

I just leave it on the pallet it comes on.
I offload the pallet into my garage and pull boxes off of it as I go to the range each time.

Since .22 is the only ammo I buy they stay in the OEM box. All the reloads go into the blue 100 round plastic boxes.

I store all of reloads in Ziplock bags inside 50 cal. Ammo cans. I have several commercial loads in original box that's on shelf.
