    Brass Durability

Would anyone care to know how many times I reloaded a single 9mm case today at the range? BTW, it was a maximum load using a 147gr bullet and 231 powder.

High praises from J-cat. You, ept000, are the recipient of online praise for your accurate guesses.

Yes, 30. I reloaded that sucker 30 times and it's still good.

I'll bet you lose a given piece of brass before you get to 20 reloads on it, unless shooting with a revolver...

That's why you have to bring brass fetchers with you to the range. They are easy and fun to make.

I made my brass catcher out of a cardboard box. But brass fetchers are a whole different animal.

I don't know how much I eventually spend on brass fetchers in 18 years, but they are DEFINATELY fun to make!!!!!

                        Sure.

If it's 30 times like you mentioned, you must have actually been following a reloading manual.
Guys that are making MAJOR with a 9mm are only using the brass once or twice until it won't hold a primer anymore.

I sure did. I followed the Midway Load MAP and confirmed it with Quick Load.
