I'm trying to find the best mil crimp swedger, I forgot how it's spelled, but my google search doesn't pull up any pages where I can buy one. I guess Dillion is the best. I got like 10k mil brass to decrimp abd the cutter on my trim mate sucks at that volume.

Looking for a mil crimp swedger

Location? Dillon is the best but 10k is a lot. I can do about 1k a night while watching tv. If the brass is not already processed there are people that will process and swage for $30 per 1k and then you won't have to swage again. The rcbs swagger on a rock chucker is brutal on the hands at that kind of volume.Comment

Yes, a Dillon is a nice tool... especially if you do the "auto" mod to it and you can swage away while watching TV.
I have the RCBS and it works great as well... I can knock out a bunch of brass quick like... but you're not as mobile as the Dillon is.
I was going to say that you might ask if someone is local to you to borrow a swager, but at 10 K, it might be worth spending the $ for one... or like Joelogic said, pay someone to do some/all for you.Eat what you kill... unless it's a zombie.

10K for brass to swage I would just buy the Dillon 1050.

1050 can be overkill if you only have to do 10k. Even at a conservative 5x reloads that is 50,000 rounds. I can swage a 5 gallon bucket of .223 in a short amount of time with the super swager and then I dont have to swage for a long time.Comment

I hand load for accuracy. I use a single stage lock abd load with redding dies. I load like 200 a week but I like to prep as much as I can and then just powder abd press in the round. I just have sooooo much brass to do I wanna buy what's gonna last and be able to do it with out killing my hands or get thrown in the pool. I'll look up the Dillon. I have to have something stand alone though... Is that Dillon stand alone? I can be bench mount it bec the tv is next to my reload bench...
I also just fasten a beer cose to the bunch to keep my beer cold and from spilling when I start cranking out rounds... Lol a big washer and wood screw works greatComment

Once you get it... check out this video. (if haven't seen it already)
If I had more brass to do... I would consider the Dillon and this easy mod.

If I had to use my super swage again, I would do that for sure.
I have not used my super swage in a while though as I have a couple 1050's now...Randall Rausch

Dude I wish I saw this thread last week when I did 1k of 223. Better yet, if I saw this months ago I would have saved myself 5k worth of painful hand swaging! I need to try this asap!
If this works I think I need to buy a 2nd Dillon super swager for 308. Cause I can already see this would be a pain in the *** to constantly switch back and forth.Don't you know the rule?? Never open the safe in front of the wife!!!Comment
