    Reloading Apprentice

For anyone who is an avid ammunition reloader in the San Jose, Sunnyvale, Fremont, CA area I would like to offer myself to anyone who would like some free slave labor and perhaps teach me the art of reloading. I would specifically like to learn how to reload 45 colt for cowboy action shooting since I am really eager to try to participate in the sport, but any reloading will be greatly appreciated. I do understand that reloading is mainly a repedative processes, non-complex, and fairly easy perform after the first hundred rounds or so but I currently dont possess the funds to pruchase my own basic supplies to start. But while I wait for that day to come when I can buy them I would like to get some hands on expeirence with someone who has their own eqipment and wouldnt mind teaching a newbie. Also I would like to learn how to reload all types of ammunition and not just one and then learn another when I aquire a different caliber gun. I do not ask for any payment of any type other than to learn and possibly reloading my own ammunition at some distant future pont in time with complete reembersiment of supplies. I am really eager to learn and available after 5pm during the week and most weekends. I am 23 with my own transportation so no worries there. If interested please feel free to contact me. Thank you.

Well if youre anywhere near the bart sure. If not I did say to Cheif-7700 I would make a day of driving 2 hours to carmel valley if he had a good, or I should have said a free place to shoot (possibly his own land). Also I would need something for my really girly hairstlyist of a wife to do. Im not trying to embarass her by saying that, its what she just is, I love her to death, and she just is not into gun stuff like I am. Well if you can meet my requirements not a problem and let me know if you hear of anyone who could use me. Thanks, JM.

Well I thought I was being clear that when I said slave labor I was meaning to say that I would help them by reloading their ammunition for them and not do any other odd jobs like clean their garage or mow grass for them. I would learn how to reload and they would get their ammo reloaded for free. Thats the trade off. I guess I would help them out with something else too depending on what it was, but only at most a half hour. Something small and if theres nothing that involves reloading afterward forget it. Sorry about the confusion, just wanted to convey my motives properly.

Na, Im way north of bart, sonoma county just north of Santa Rosa. If you girl likes wine tasting and expensive shopping, windsor has a nice town green, same with healdsburg witch is about 15 minutes away.Driving here from SJ is about 2 hours last time I did that drive.

Unfortunatly no room to shoot on my property. Closest range is actually in san rafael about an hour drive. What calibers are you intrested in loading? My lee progressive is only set up for .45acp, my turret press I have set ups for 9mm, .223, 30-06, 10mm, .380 and a few other calibers.

Also I have some reloading gear that I am selling if you wanna start collecting some of the basics toss me a PM or email zacfields@gmail.com

You don't understand. Berms contain projectiles. Projectiles are made of lead. Lead is remelted to form new projectiles.

                  Yep, bermining is hard work.

To bad the OP isn't closer to me, I have lead pots, molds, lubesizers, presses, dies, etc. Hell, I even have a berm full of lead, a cliff with lots of shot at the bottom of it and a gold pan.

Ahhh. You mean back stops. I got ya now. That I wouldnt mind if I got to keep the lead and cast my own bullets. I really would like to do that too.
