    Which dies for 6.8 SPC

Any recomendations for dies for 6.8 SPC?

I've been using Dillon dies for just about everything else but they don't have them for the 6.8.

I've been pretty happy with my RCBS dies.

m'kay. Both RCBS and Redding have multiple die sets.

        For example:

RCBS 2-Die Set 6.8mm Remington SPC

Redding 2-Die Set 6.8mm Remington SPC
Redding Type S Bushing 3-Die Neck Sizer Set 6.8mm Remington SPC
Redding 3-Die Set 6.8mm Remington SPC

        So, which one?

I know that Ted gets pretty decent accuracy out of his dies, but are there advantages to the 3 die set over the 2 die set and what about the "Type S Bushing Neck Sizer" set?

After having tried various bullets and powders for the 6.8, the Die set will not make a huge difference unless the dies are not sizing the case properly. Found the major contributor to accuracy is the bullet, powder, charge, and trimming. For my rifles, 110 grain Hornady V-max gave the best accuracy for all my 6.8 rifles: Sub Moa @ 100 yards.

For the die set, use the 2 die set since SA rifles require full length dies. If you like to crimp your ammo, use Ko-tonics factory crimp die.

            I concur: 2 die set.

BTW the Ko-tonics factory crimp die is the 6.8 SPC Lee factory crimp die.

              Alrighty then.

Let's move onto powder. H-322 seems to be a standard and probably a good idea because I can use it for .223, also. Any other powders that I should consider?

Though I mostly reload pistol, the rifles that I'm gearing up to load are .30 Springfield, .308, .223 and 6.8. Commonality of eqipment is important to me. Any suggestions on a powder that will work across those platforms?

Benchmark can be used for all 3 calibers. But you will get more velocity with with H322 w/o pressure signs. And btw I use the regular RCBS dies with Kotonic's factory crimp die.

So far the best performance I've had is with H322 for Hornady 110 gr V Max and Reloder10X for Hornady or Sierra 115 gr BTHP.
