1:7 ideally likes 69, 75, 77 gr
1:7.7 likes all 55 thru 77
1:8 likes 55 thru 69
1:9 like 55 thru 62

1:7 heavy barrel like the LWRC can acheive 1.5-2" groups with 55

most new Military AR15 are 1:7 twist since the military want heavier bullet but don't want to spend the cash (for the 6.5 grendal, 6.8SPC, etc).. so they went to the MK262 which is a Sierra Match King 77gr traveling at 2700 fps

A 7.7 twist will shoot 40-90 grain bullets, the latter out to 1000 yards.
