wolf .223 military classic ammo =junk

bought some at the ontario show and had nothing but problems with it.

local gunshop inspected the ammo for me and said casing are sized wrong and that would cause feed and expansion issues right off the bat.... the taper towards the rim is off,the rim would also break off partially and cause fte with casing stuck in barrel, had to use cleaning rod from a mosin m38 to get the casing out

called the vendor from the ontario show and they said bring the remaining ammo and receipt back to next show-->costa mesa and the would take care of me,i will release the vendors name after the exchange so that i can give true positive/negative feedback on the deal....

they were good over the phone right from the start so i hope they do right at the gun show.

I've always been weary of Wolf ammo. My first AR (Bushmaster Carbon 15) came with an insert warning not to use Wolf ammo... but I've had friends that use Wolf with no issues. Guess it depends on what each rifle likes.

Maybe it was a bad batch.
Went through many cases, and only an occassional hiccup. Nothing too major.
I know for sure the newer cases of military classic don't have the water sealant anymore.
      GL with the vendor.

I have had an issue with an upper bought at the Gun Show in Ontario last year. I put stop of payment on the credit card i used and typed out a failed to accept a return form ahead of time so by the time i went in there he knew i was not gonna take no for an answer. I also did as you have done, Calguns Posts to get the truth out. Good job.

What are you shooting it through?

I buddy of mine bought some Wolf 7.62 and couldn't shoot it with his SKS, but my Saiga ate it just fine and wanted more!

.223 wolf military classic in a stag 3h factory complete upper.

it eats everything else fine, but the case's are breaking from over expansion and are incorrectly formed compared to .223 spec's also...so production from wolf is the cause not the vendor...

You need a Russian made rifle to shot Russian ammo...Saiga, AK74, etc...

Ya I found out the same thing. My ar (spikes lower, rr 14.5 upper) hated wolf. Bought some a few days ago ended up selling it to a Guy at the range with a .223 saiga. His gun loved it...

a very good customer service vendor i must say. thanks miwall ammo
