Blazer Brass 9mm - 1 bad ammo

Ah well, my first bad ammo...

I bought this box at Wal-Mart, not sure when but has to be either Duarte, Upland, or the Covina store.

There seems to be only one bad one...

Anyone kinda know what happened...tiny kaboom :haha:, just not crimped
I just pulled the bullet by hand and it came out easily.

Ah well, ready to go shooting tomorrow...ummm not with that one

I shot 800 rounds of this Blazer Brass about a year ago. Not one single glitch.

Unfortunately from time to time there will be "glitches" in the manufacturing process. Since you were able to pull apart by hand then I would "assume" that the bullet was not seated right.

+1 to ireload's statement. Nothing done by humans will ever be perfect, of course. Sounds like that particular case didn't get sized correctly.

I would let Blazer know about it, they might have a recall. if the lot has problems with bullets not captured correctly in the case, you could potentially have excessive pressure in your pistola if a round chambers with the bullet seated too deep!!!

another bad part of that would be it coming apart in the mag and dumping a crapload of powder inside your mag and gun. that would be a pisser.

I still have half a case of the same stuff that I used for a class last year, shot fine for me. Although when you reload the brass, the cases aren't as sturdy as some other brands. The primer pockets seem to get fairly loose after a few loadings.
