Dillon Super Swage --> Reload SA surplus brass?

I just got the latest Blue Press after not getting it for a long time (who knows why) and when reading about the Super Swage it got me thinking. Would this tool make it possible to reload my SA surplus 7.62 brass?

South-African 7.62Nato surplus are berdan-primed, can not be decapped from your regular boxer-primed setup. Please use google to lookup the difference between berdan and boxer case.

that's for removing mil crimpers on 5.56 or 30/06 mil brass. I've yet to see any mil surp 308 that's crimped. Usually there are staked instead of crimped. If you have R1A1's they're berdan but Denal made boxers for export as well(pkg as Cheetah brand in the 90's).

RCBS makes a berdan decapping tool set if you want to try reloading berdan primed brass. It'll be a good hobby if you're interested in recycling the brass that way

Currently OFV's are the only one's reloadable. Cavim's are reloadable if you see them at the shows.

I was under the impression that the 'nny' headstamp was that of prvi partisan (in Serbia?)

Actually I do reload my berdan-primed GP11 brass for my K31 (same caliber as 7.62Nato), so decapping 30-cal berdan case is not a problem. See surplusrifle.com and look up berdan decapping using home-made hydraulic ram (5/16 clovis pin, a shell-stand, hammer and water). Berdan primer you can get from gunbroker.com for about $60/2000.

But .308 boxer-primed cases are plentyful and cheap: buy once-fired or range-pickup. IMO, I won't bother w/ .308 berdan case.
