Hello. I posted this question in general forums and didn't get much. Then I saw this one, so here it goes.
I have a few boxes of Fiocchi .40 S&W FMJHP 145gr ammo. Made in Italy. I bought it about 10 years ago and only use it at the range once in a while because its noticeably hotter than the stuff I mostly use. Its fun stuff but I don't want to beat up my guns to much with it. Its not marked +P. Has a good amount of flash.
Anybody have any info on this stuff? I don't have any way to test it, but I would guess with only a 145gr round from a .40 case it should be quite fast.
Also, how can it be a FMJ and a HP at the same time? It looks like a typical HP to me.
