    XL media separator

Anybody using a really big media separator? I have the big dillon one and it will do, but I would like a bigger one as I have a cement mixer for tumbling and it can clean a ton of brass. Anybody know where I can get something like that or will I have to make my own?

I think you're going to have to make your own. Biggest one I've seen is the RCBS.

The big dillon holds almost 1500 pieces of .223. Just spin twice. How many pieces are you tumbling?

Really? It's bigger than the Dillon? I have one and I can't even really put a full load from the big Dillon tumbler in it (I need to try to get a lot of the media out before I fill the basket, otherwise so much media ends up in the bottom that the basket drags through it on every pass)....I was hoping the Dillon was appropriately sized for their tumbler.

I think I've heard of some people using the small electric cement mixer from HF Tools. That might get it done.

I can tumble 12000+ 9mm brass in my cement mixer. The Dillon separator will work, I just have to do more than one load.

It is. You can do a full load in the Dillon separator from the large Dillon tumbler no problem.

Maybe the dillion is larger. The only one I have from dillon is that sifter thing and it's way smaller than my RCBS.

get another cement mixer and drill holes in it, or cut slots with an abrasive blade on a skill saw or grinder
