    Chronographs

I need a chrono and had IR chronos highly recommended to me.

Does anyone have experiences or recommendations for a chono?

    Thank you.

You'll probably want to take a look at the CED chrono, it has a IR screen option. My Shooting Chrony is okay in that it's portable, but the documentation sucks and the interface is rather clunky.

I have the "BETA MASTER" Chrony, and it suites my needs.(Don't want to say it backwards though).

I even shot it while getting carried away and rapid firing through it, and it's still going strong. Like my buddy says, "It's got character now".

I have the Chrony but the basic version of what RaymondMillbrae have. I like mine and does well with working up my loads.

I highly recommend CED M2. I don't have the IR, but it works well and has decent software for downloading data stored.

I had a Crony first time around and then got the CED MII. Much better machine.
The optional case is really slick. There's an IR option for it too.

              Another CED MII user here.

Used to have a Chrony and a Pact... the CED MII is more reliable, gets readings under conditions the others won't, the memory/review features on the main unit come in handy, and the software is nice to dump logs out to excel.

I don't have the IR option because I've never used it indoors, but someone here at work has a CED MII with the IR screens and says it works very well indoors.

Thank you gentlemen, I very much appreciate the input.

I've used the Chrony Beta previously and was lukewarm on it.
