I bought some rifle ammo on another forum from a guy in OR, and he said fed ex would not ship it here. Anyone know why? I am not at a restricted zip.

Probably tried to ship from a store not a hub. Try UPS.Comment

Not necessarily. The USPS will also do it if it's marked properly (ORMD). Before I started reloading, I bought my .44 Special ammo that way, and they shipped it USPS."San Francisco Liberal With A Gun"

That's not true. Ammunition is considered "non-mailable" and "prohibited" by the USPS. You can't legally ship ammo through the USPS. I know that some people get away with it though. The only ORM-D packages that the USPS will take are those that fit into the "Consumer Commodity" ORM-D category, and that does not include ammunition.__________________
