Ok, so Ive decided to get into reloading by first starting of with .45 ACP. After many hours here, I think Ive decided to man up and get the Dillon 650, I think Ill save money in the long run. Now in addition to the press and a few reloading manuals that I already have and been reading for a few weeks, what other items are necessary to get my reloading operation running smoothly. I want to compile a list so that when I order, I order everything at once and try to save on shipping. Give me a breakdown with things that are essential, and things that are nice to have. Thanks!

You will want a good digital scale and a bullet puller.
Can't help with the 650 because I just upgraded to one and am in the process of setting it up, but you should get everything you need. If you didn't get the powder check setup, get that. One double charged load will cost you more than the powder check setup. (ask me how I know

Good choice on the 650, Mate.
I have two and use one for 9mm and the other for 45ACP. Looks like a good list and just in case it is not on there, I suggest a case gauge from Wilson. I also use a Redding Comp seater die (the rest of the dies on the tool head are Dillon). I use more than one type of bullet and weights and using a Redding Comp seater makes it easy for me to mark my seater setting for each bullet I use.
Happy Trails, Mate.

I use a dillon 650 to load 45 and it really does the trick. Once you get it set up, just tumble brass and make great ammo. Doesn't get any easier than that.Comment
