45 ACP question

Getting ready to load some 45 acp with West Coast Bullets 200gr plated RN and I cant find a COL listing. Would my standard length for 230 LRN be correct?

FWIW, I use 200 gr SWC Bear Creek at 1.230

As far as I am concerned with my experience, the cartridge fits in a magazine is all I needed. The actual numbers didn't matter as long as it fit in the magazine.

COL just cares about shape. Round nose lead bullets are the same shape as round nose plated bullets within the tolerences of the bullets themselves.

I have always used my .45 barrels to test for proper fit. Simply remove the barrel and drop the first completed round in. It should go in easily with a distinct "click" noise. If the round fits in the barrel it will, of course, fit into your mags.

This system avoids re-seating adventures or bullet pulling excercises to correct errors.
