    Dillon Automatic Case Feed

I FINALLY broke down and bought a Dillon Auto Case feed.. It got here today.. WOW!!! it is the next best thing to sliced bread!!!! I don;t know how I made it using my 650 all these years (11yrs??) filling that case feed tube every 20rnds or so (308... 35 9mm cases)!!! The only bad thing is that I need a step ladder to get to the top of case feed hopper to fill it up.....

I just discovered that white plastic diverter last night. It works great if you leave it at an angle up for me.. I was just letting shells double in the hole and jam the plate before.

Now all you need is one of those automatic bullet feeders that they make for it. http://www.bulletfeeder.com/photos.htm

Guys buy your reloading machines now as that might be another way they will limit us.

          I can just see it.

You are now limited to 50 Rifle primers per year.

SAS, the current run on reloading supplies seems to be fueled by the high cost of ammo (or rather by the dollar's value being in the toilet if you prefer). not so much political reasons.

I feel ..ok.. ever since the gun community railed on zumbo as a group rather than be divided by it. this VT shooting will be an all or nothing kind of thing for 2A debates I think.

I just ordered bullet casting stuff just because it looks like it might be fun to do twice a year. I have a 'recipe book' that shows how to make gunpowder too, I think the ingredients might be a bit hard to round up.

I don't know how you did either. The 650 is so fast that you'd drive yourself crazy filling the tube.

11 years without the case feeder?! Wow. That's... a long time to go with out that.

I just found out about the bullet feeder and I've asked for one for my birthday for my 650. Can't wait. I'm actually trying to figure out if I can tack on another accessory... a 1050. I hate reloading, but it needs to be done.

                    (warning, off topic)

NRA: since u are a Dillon user.... how do you deal with compressed powder issue? ie. when I am trying to pack more than 24gr of Alliant RL15 into my 223 cases, all the bullets(77gr Nosler HPBT) exhibit the "compression" mark..... others had suggested using long powder drop tube/funnel, but I dunno HOW to do that with dillon's powder measure.....

Which VV? I *also* have compression problem with VV N540, over certain wt., it certainly less pronounced and less of a problem verse RL15

What powder & wt do you load your 77gr?

The least problem I have is with Ramshot TAC... it is a lot finer grain... and I can get a LOT more powder into the case... yet, I've heard that it is a DIRTY powder....
