Great video's Ray, I am watching them for the second time as I am getting ready to load .223. When you use the Dillon trimmer do you need to debur the cases or does the trimmer do that for you?

That is the reason I use the "M" die. If there happens to be any slight burring, the "M" die will clear it up. It also puts a super-tiny bell on the mouth of the case for better boolit insertion.

Some folks say "Blasphemy"! But the fact is that I use range brass. And because of that, not all the neck diameters are the same. I have come across large numbers of brass cases where if not belled, the boolit will not slip into the case mouth, and then tilts and falls.

Like I said, super-teeny-tiny bell. The M" die is adjusted so it does NOT go into the case neck. It should just touch the case mouth.

Let me also add that I am not reloading .223 for a precision bolt-action rifle. This is for my 3-gunning, magazine fed, black rifle.

I have a totally different set-up for reloading precision .308 rounds.

Just saw this, very well done. What brand/size of walnut media do you use? I always get crap in the primer hole with my pet store media and am having to punch it out with a pin. An extra step I want to eliminate.

I use walnut with grit rating of 12/20. I buy it from a place that sells blasting equipment as well as different types of media.

Raymond, I have benefited greatly from your videos. I especially like your lubing method. =)

hey Raymond, I, for the life of me cannot figure out have you are trimming but not resizing. In order to trim the case, it has to go all the way up into the sizing die to protrude up into the trimming chamber of the dillon trimmer. Unless you are using a universal type of trimming die?

Also, your lubing method is solid but I use the dillon lube instead. I save a lot more lube, lubing them with my hands. Thanks for the videos.
