most powder manufacturers have load data on their websites. i use IMR and Hodgdon mainly which are both the same website now but the others have data as well. check them out.

i use a lee "perfect"(could be better) powder measure and put 45 grains of win 748 with a 147 fmj works great in my m1a

and the lee is pretty darn accurate in the throwing the win 748 i was getting occasional crunching sound with varget

but its hard to screw up loading the greased bbs that is 748

my bullets are the bulk winchester from cabela's

RL-15, 168gr SMK, CCI BR2 and a Lapua case, shoots well in my Remington 700 LTR with 20" barrel. Sierra's accuracy load for the 168gr SMK is 42gr of RL-15 and the max load is 43.6gr.

My best load so far: 42.8 grains of varget, 175 SMK, Winchester LR primer, Winchester case trimmed to 2.010", 2.805" OAL.

I use 41.8 - 42.0 grains of IMR 4064 in LC match brass, Wolf large rifle primer and Sierra 168 MK seated to .010" from the rifling. Always worked well.
