Is there anywhere I can get a recipie for sub sonic ammo. I want to make some 9mm, .45, and .223

Just keep them under the speed of sound and make sure the the slide/bolt will function.

Speed of sound is approximately 1100 ft/sec in cool dry air. Altitude and temp can affect that and make it lower, so keep your rounds around 1000 ft/sec and you'll be OK. There are plenty of subsonic loads listed in the manuals/online. Many are closer to 700 fps for paper punching. Very pleasant to shoot with light recoil.Comment
