moly coated ammo, is it safe?

i've been purchasing various ammo for my .308 rifle to see which one it likes the best. i ran into some Hornady 168-grain BTHP Moly coated cartridges and even bought about 4 boxes worth. i did some research after the purchase of the moly coated ammo, now i'm kind of skeptical of it's performance.

should i worry about damaging the inside of my barrel with this moly coated ammo? i read the benefit of this coating is to reduce the friction inside the barrel, but the coating deposits a bunch of crap in the barrel itself after a while, and i don't know if that's good or bad.

While I am sure it is "safe" I can not elaborate on the value or harm of any "deposit" left in the bore.
One of the selling points of "moly" in other applications is its ability to leave a friction reducing deposit in the pores of the metal.

Don't know much 'bout rifle ammo w/ moly coated bullets, but it's pretty clean almost like FMJ after going thru. all my pistols' barrels. These are very clean compared to all lead bullets...JMHO.
