    XL-650 Modifications

I have made some modifications to my XL-650's priming system got tired of primers all over the floor.

First one was to the unused primer chute:
Cut a 1/4" piece off some 5/8" clear plastic tubing put the cutoff piece on the
end of the chute, it stops the primers from launching on to the floor.

More to come once I figure out how to explain the modification to the spent primer collection system.

I just used a piece of electrical tape to seat it in better and it also stops them from flying out too

There are plenty of writeups out there. My favorite so far is the thrust bearing mod.

The fix to keep powder from jumping out at station four is to cut 1/2 a coil off
the ball detent spring under the shell plate. I believe that the thrust bearing was designed to do the same thing as above.

The thrust bearing mod is to eliminate shellplate flex while trimming, at least for me.
