    Walmart: "Ammo rationing Over"

    No more 6 box limit. Talked to store manager yesterday who stated that a memo came out lifting the 6 box restriction. Everything but .357 mag, 38sp, and 44 mag. seems to be plentiful locally here in N. Ca... YMMV

      Guess it depends on who you talk to.

      Went to Folsom last night and the old fart there said they still had the 6 box limit.

      And for the last year and a half he's made it a point to say that Walmart will stop selling ammo at the beginning of the year to everyone who buys ammo there.

        I just picked up some ammo at the Azuza location and limit is still placed. Half of the ammo in the case is empty.

          I bought some Federal Auto Match on Friday at Vacaville, the clerk would only sell me 3 boxes. I stopped off at the American Canyon W.M. on the way home, and they said I could buy as much as I wanted, but they didn't have anything I needed, so I bought a cordless drop light. Saturday I went back up to Vacaville, and a different clerk sold me 4 boxes of Auto Match. Oh well, it's that much. Both stores had LOTS of ammo, A.C. had more rifle stuff.

            No limit in south O.C. either. Notice that's been taped on the shelves were removed and they had tons of 9mm, 40sw, and .223's. But no .22's, 45's or 38's

                if Waly stops selling ammo pretty much EXPECT the shelves to be BARE of ANY ammo and the prices to skyrocket.

                        I was Colton Walmart on Friday and the 6 box limit is still there, but I think it depends on who helps you because I was there on wednesday and there was no 6 box limit.

                          @whtl:

                          Walmart carries (if you can find it) 100 rds of winchester fmj loose .45 ACP cartridges for about $32. On occasion they carry 50 rds of Federal champion fmj .45 ACP for $16 or 50 rds of Remington fmj for about the same price.
