    Reloading class in SD

So who's going to the reloading class at La Mesa Collectibles May 20th? I signed up today, about thirty minutes ago.

It's $50 on Thursday, May 20th, 2010 from 1830-2130. You will actually be doing reloading (hands on). Also, the owner told me he will knock off 10% on anything you buy in the store after the class is over.

BTW, you might want to call before you head over there to sign up. A maximum of only 10 people fill the class.

The proctor's name is Steve. He has been reloading for over 30 years and is a college boy with a PHD. Very knowledgeable dude. I look forward to going!

Interesting. I was going to head down there in a few anyway to look at some things.

    I will check it out.

Man, I must have missed you by minutes as I was there around the same time.....next door too.

I didn't register for the class, but I usually go there every two weeks or so to nose around for any deals or new stuff.

I like that place though, it has a lot of character and some unusual stuff hanging around.

Lol, you must have. I was there about 20 minutes.

The owner told me they were moving, but doesn't know where to yet. Hope it's not too far. Wonder if the name "La Mesa Collectibles" will stay if they move out of La Mesa.

              Update:

The reloading class was AWESOME!! It was only myself and another older dude in the class lol, two people total, myself included.

The proctor was very knowledgeable and let us actually do some reloading on .38 special. We were using a rcbs single stage press. The teacher covered many things on reloading, safety, products etc..

Since there was pretty much no one there, we were allowed to do more hands on reloading. Also, I was given the promised 10% off everything I purchased.

I learned alot of things that were not covered in reloading books. Glad I went and I recommend anyone new to reloading go take the class.
